You know how gym memberships work: You pay a set amount monthly and, no mater how often you go, you know you can drop in and use it? Sure your favorite treadmill may be in use but it’s a chance you take. The benefit of course is that it means you get to have access to something much cooler than your average home gym. Also, like at the gym, you get to see people and be inspired by them.
That’s kind of how floating memberships at Anchorspace work.
For $100/month, you can come in any time we are open (always open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm). We collectively get to work in a really cool space AND get to work with as well as around each other. Yeah you can’t leave a ton of stuff here but it’s a good affordable option (or a way to test the coworking waters).
Eight floating members share two available sit-to-stand workstations. So far, no more than one floating member has ever been here at a time but you never know. We are accepting 8 floating members total and have 4 currently to ensure space availability.
What’s the difference between a floating member and a monthly member?
|Monthly Membership ($350/month)||Floating Membership ($100/month)|
To make sure we have place for people when they do come, we are going to limit the amount of floating memberships we take to 25.
